Introducing: Products AI
We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our new tool, Products AI! An intelligent solution that improves your product feed by using Artificial Intelligence. It analyses your data in the Google Merchant Center and improves your product content. By automatically optimising elements like your product title, product type, and other attributes, you will get more impressions and a higher visibility of your products within Google’s shopping window.
What is Products AI?
Giving artificial intelligence a free shot on your product content might be risky, that’s why we created Products AI. A solution that integrates best practices that we learnt by collaborating with PPC specialists and from helping thousands of webshops optimise their campaigns during the last few years. All this knowledge is integrated into industry templates and the prompt on the back end.
Additionally, you can set the strictness of Products AI. Brands that have strict guidelines are recommended to keep Products AI more strict, while brands that want to grow at all costs might want to give all the freedom to AI.
After running Products AI for some products, you will be able to see, adapt, or even revert the changes it made. This way, you are in control of optimising your products while using the power of AI to save you tons of time. By first focusing on your underperforming products, the ones that hardly get impressions (your sleeping Zombies), you will be able to turn them into your best performers, your Hero products! Why does Producthero introduce Products AI?
In 2020 we designed the Shopping Ad Framework containing three main factors that will impact your success on Google: Bid, Relevance, and Market. The bid contains your bidding strategy and segmentation, relevance focusing on how product content matches relevant search queries, and, of course, the competitiveness of your offer in the market pillar.

What is the Products AI Scoring Model by Producthero?
In the Products AI scoring model, we show the impact level of elements on your auction results for shopping ads in Google. This model will help you focus on the most crucial parts while optimising your Product Content. An example of this is focussing on optimising your product titles, which can lead to amazing results as you can see in this case study where Wehkamp even doubled their impressions. Within Products AI, there are different views available to give you a better overview of your product data.
Who is Products AI for?
Products AI is designed for anyone who wants to increase the visibility (and therefore get more impressions) of their Shopping ads in Google. As feed management solutions can have a difficult learning curve, agencies usually rely on one person to manage the product feeds for all clients. This is a risk for both the agency and the clients, as work falls still when this colleague is on holiday, sick, or leaves the organization. That’s why, in Productshero, we develop and design solutions that can be used by everyone, no matter the level of technical expertise. What data does Products AI use to improve my product content?
The templates and prompts we develop are based on our experience with webshops and DO NOT include any customer data. These templates and prompts are tested by a panel of experienced PPC veterans and junior SEA managers. The information fed into Products AI is exclusively from public sources, and any results you choose to add to your product feed will also be publicly accessible in your Shopping ads. Since only public information is used and generated, there is no risk to using Products AI.
How can you start using Products AI?
In order to use Products AI, you need to have a Producthero PRO subscription. You’ll find Products AI in the Products AI tab (see image below) within the Producthero Platform.
In which languages is Products AI available?
Currently, Products AI supports 8 European languages, allowing you to optimise your product feed in Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Swedish.
Additionally, Finnish, Greek, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, and Romanian will be available soon.
How can you start optimising your product feed with Products AI?
You can optimise certain products by using Products AI advanced filters. You can filter products by aspects such as brand, title length,
While you have full control over which products to optimise first, we’ve compiled expert recommendations to provide you with a helpful starting point for maximising your results.
- Heroes with poor titles: Our recommendation is to start optimising your Heroes with poor titles. That is, your over-performers with very short titles. This way, you can increase relevancy and therefore the volumes of your best-performing products.
- Zombies: After that, we recommend you optimise your sleeping products. By improving the relevance of your Zombies, they will gain more impressions, and have the opportunity to become a Sidekick or even a Hero.
- Best-selling brands: Filter by your top brands to further improve their relevancy and performance.
- Seasonal products: Another recommendation is to optimise seasonal products in bulk by adding seasonal keywords to the titles to boost volumes during peak periods (Christmas, Summer, Valentine’s Day etc.).
- Product types: Finally, it is also a good practice to start optimising by product category, allowing you to analyse results and create customised strategies for different types or categories.

Products AI gives you the possibility of customising your prompt using the following four controls: ‘Title Template’ (different industries), ‘Language’, ‘AI Creativity Control’ and ‘Customise Prompt’
